The story behind

Once upon a time, while the lockdown was raging in France, I ended up stuck in my trendy-downtown-Nice apartment with 2 bichons, a teenagerette and a charming husband with (serious) cooking tendencies. 

While attempting to protect my waistline, I came across an audio app.  I was craving to feel somewhat useful and to connect with other human beings, so the French teacher in me, with over 15-years of experience, ended up offering a daily mini-lesson called 5-French Words a Day™.

This online language café with a cultural nudge soon attracted 40,000 French-learners.  You could stay in the audience and just listen or come up on the "stage" and practice your pronunciation.   

I fell in love with this format because I was free from a static language school context, I could share about French artists and meet new and old friends also interested in France and all things French, kindness, and travel.
